Information about Permanent Makeup
Permanent Eyebrow Makeup
Eyebrows frame the face, they give definition and can effect your overall appearance.
Permanent makeup not only saves you time in your daily routine, it can be used to correct symmetry and give yourself a confidence boost. The method that is best for you will be discussed during your consultation,
I will look at your natural hair growth, your desired look and your skin type. Then 'pencil' on a template that you are happy with before the PMU treatment begins.
The price includes the consultation, patch test, first treatment and the 6-12 week top-up. The top-up needs to be done 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. Please note a charge will be applied if left longer.
How does it work?
I use Micropigmentation, which is PMU with a digital machine which uses a needle to inject pigments - so not a blade (which is different and known as microblading)
Cosmetic Tattooing treatment is classed as semi-permanent because some of the pigment could remain in the skin indefinitely, a colour boost is recommended roughly every 10-24 months to keep them looking their best.
My style is natural, you can always add but you can’t take away. I believe that this treatment is about enhancing your natural look. You can still add makeup for a bolder look if needed. We need to remember that fashion styles change.
With all treatments the pigment will fade by around 30% once healed. Some clients will require a third treatment, this is chargeable at £50.
This may be needed if the clients has oilier skin, is on certain medications, clients that have bled more during treatments, and those that haven’t followed the aftercare instructions.
How long does it take?
The first treatment appointment is around 2-3 hours. (Consultation included). This is a two-part treatment so a top-up is vital. The top-up needs to be done 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. Please note a charge will be applied if left longer.
I like to warn clients that they are likely to go patchy and fade after the first treatment. Sometimes the pigment is masked by healing skin and can push back through over the healing process, if not then this will be filled at the top-up.
You will need approximately 3 weeks after your brows have been done before they have healed and you can go in the sun, on a sun holiday and I advise you to have “both” appointments done before any sun holidays as a sun holiday in between initial treatments could affect your final results
Due to popularity there can be a lead time before your appointment, so please book ahead in good time. You will be required to pay a £50 deposit at the time of booking with the balance payable in full on the day of your first appointment.
